About CEF

Child Evangelism Fellowship, also known as CEF, is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the local church for Christian living. CEF is active in nearly every country around the world (in more countries than Coca-Cola!), and has over 2,900 missionaries overseas, approximately 2,200 of whom are nationals. In the USA and Canada 700 full-time workers and an estimated 40,000 volunteers serve the ministry. CEF was founded by Jesse Irvin Overholtzer in 1937.

About CEF of the Northeast

Our chapter officially covers 12 1/2 counties of northeast ND, but we also have ministry activities in NW Minnesota, from Norman Co. all the way to Kittson Co. From Rugby to Thief RIver Falls, Pembina to Hillsboro, and everywhere in between, we are partnering with local churches and equipping disciples of Jesus to evangelize and disciple children inside and outside their church walls.

In 2019, nearly 1000 kids attended either a Go Club, Good News Club, or a Birthday Party for Jesus, and heard the good news of Jesus Christ, while 70 teens and adults received children’s ministry training across our chapter. We look forward to partnering with you in reaching children with the Gospel and raising up the next generation of Christ-followers!
