CEF Ministry Programs

CEF Ministry Partnership

We are always looking to partner with local churches and individuals who want to reach children with the Gospel in their neighborhoods and communities, and to establish them in God’s word and a Bible-believing, Christ-proclaiming local church. Keep reading to learn more about how you can get involved with a CEF ministry program.

*Note: All CEF volunteers 18 and older must be screened and approved by CEF. Click “Volunteer Screening” at the top of this page and follow the instructions prior to participating in any official CEF ministry programs.

Go Clubs

®

Go Clubs® is an exciting, fun-filled two hour club held each day for four consecutive days. This program is primarily designed to reach children who are “unchurched” and/or may not yet have heard the Gospel. Go Clubs include: dynamic Bible lessons, creative learning activities, meaningful songs, life-changing Scripture memorization. Go Clubs are taught by teens who have been trained at Go Training, our summer missionary training camp. There is also no cost to hosting a Go Club.

The 2022 Go Club ministry season will run for 5 weeks. The weeks are as follows: June 20; June 27; July 11; July 18; and July 28 (no clubs the week of July 4).

Hosting a Go Club is very simple:

  • Provide a club location: Go Clubs are ideally held in homes, backyards, local parks, and other locations that aren’t directly connected to a local church. However, we will gladly partner with churches to lead or assist with existing evangelistic ministries, like a summer VBS.

  • Get the word out: You can promote your club in many different ways: word-of-mouth, phone calls, texts, email, pamphlets, door-to-door canvassing, social media, posters, and even newspaper and radio ads. You’re free to be creative in letting kids and parents know about your club, and we’re happy to provide ideas and materials to help you out.

Please prayerfully consider partnering with us this summer as a Go Club host. If you’re interested in hosting a Go Club, or if you have further questions, please contact local director Karl Krause (contact info below).

Good News Club

®

Good News Club® (GNC) is a school-year ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes, just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet (with parental permission). Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.

Good News Club is intended to function as a program and extension of local church ministry. No two GNCs look exactly the same, and we encourage churches and GNC leaders to be creative with their club and make it their own. GNC training and materials can easily be incorporated into an activities-based ministry, and we invite Christians who have kid-friendly skills and interests to integrate them into their GNC to create new and exciting ways of connecting with kids in their local schools and communities.

Each GNC must have at least two (2) adult leaders, but there is no limit to the number of additional volunteers. GNC teachers must attend a GNC training prior starting their club, though non-teaching volunteers, while encouraged to attend, are not required to do so. There’s many roles within a GNC, and we invite Christian teens and adults of all ages, abilities, and experiences to prayerfully consider being a part of a local GNC.

If you’d like to start or get involved in a Good News Club in your area, please contact local director Karl Krause to find out more (contact info below).
